TAMS Communication

Dear FarmGen Customer,

We are reaching out to update you on the status of your TAMS application following the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine’s (DAFM) assessment of Tranche 10.

Unfortunately, due to the Ranking and Selection criteria applied by DAFM, your application was not selected for approval in Tranche 10.

While we understand this is disappointing news, it does not mean your project cannot proceed. There are still strong grant supports and funding options available that can make Solar PV a valuable and cost-effective investment for your farm.

What happens next

Your application has already been re-submitted into Tranche 11, which closed on Friday, 6 March 2026.

Over the coming weeks, a member of the FarmGen team will contact you directly to discuss:

  • The financial return of installing Solar PV using alternative grant options
  • Available finance and payment plans
  • The best next steps based on your farm’s electricity usage and the system size proposed

What do you need to do now?

You do not need to take any action at this stage.

A member of our team will be in touch to talk through the most suitable options for your farm and answer any questions you may have.

Kind regards,
The FarmGen Team
