Dear FarmGen Customer,

Following on from Minister Hayden's announcement on the 26th of November 2025, we are writing to update you on the current position regarding TAMS Tranche 9 applications, which were submitted between June 7th & September 5th 2025.

Because of a high number of applications, DAFM has applied Ranking and Selection to applications made from Tranche 9 onwards.

What this means for you:

• While not all Tranche 9 applications could be approved immediately, applications that were not selected have not been refused.
• Your application remains fully valid and will automatically move forward into Tranche 10.

Looking ahead:

Applications in Tranche 10 will be assessed using DAFM’s Ranking and Selection System, where each application is scored and ranked nationally.

What do you need to do next:

• There is nothing you need to do at this stage.
• Your application is already in the system and will be assessed as part of Tranche 10.
• Your application will still run concurrent with your ESB Application.

We will keep you fully informed as soon as any further updates or decisions are available, from DAFM.
